About the Role:
Dambach Lumber & Supply Co Inc is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Inside Sales professional to join their team in Harmony, PA! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic building materials environment where your sales skills and product knowledge will make a real impact for customers and the business alike.
Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in and phone customers with lumber, building materials, and supply product inquiries
- Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up to close sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and retail customers
- Collaborate with yard and warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize customer value
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and inventory requests
- Stay current on product lines, pricing, and industry trends to serve as a knowledgeable resource
Requirements:
- Prior experience in inside sales, counter sales, or a customer-facing role preferred
- Knowledge of lumber, building materials, or construction supply is a strong plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and point-of-sale or order management software
- Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent required
